Created a secure, homely female-only treatment centre for gambling addiction. 14 bedrooms, therapy suites, dining areas, and full M&E package with EPC A rating.
The brief was to provide a new residential facility - 14 bedrooms with kitchen, laundry and landscaping; group and one-to-one therapy suites; dining rooms; break-out rooms, domestic style kitchens and a full M&E package providing an overall EPC A rating.
This female-only residential treatment centre for gambling addiction required a space that was homely but functional; highly secure and anonymous in which the clients felt supported and could focus on their rehabilitation in a safe space.
Acoustic walls and ceilings were a major challenge to achieve in these 1890’s buildings, but with the expertise at hand in-house at &Stenball, superb ratings were achieved, far in excess of the Building Control requirements
